Agent Information
Margaret Iorii has lived and worked in all three counties in Delaware and now that she lives in Rehoboth Beach, she is home to stay. She bought her beach house in 1988 and enjoyed summers and the occasional long weekend until 2007, when she moved to the beach area full-time.
Iorii retired from Merrill Lynch as a vice-president in both Dover and Rehoboth Beach after 22 years of working with families and small businesses to achieve their financial goals. She achieved many awards during her career but is most proud of winning the Delaware Today Five Star Financial Advisor Award in 2010 and 2011, because this award was selected by both clients and others who based their choice on customer service and performance. Iorii received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware in Business Administration.
"I see my becoming a REALTOR® as a natural segue from being a financial advisor," Iorii said. "Most people's largest investment is in real estate, whether a primary home or vacation home. A home completes a person's portfolio. And it's critical that buyers connect with the properties that fit their needs. As someone who has always worked in sales, real estate is the perfect fit!"
Iorii is extremely community-minded, as she is currently the president of the Rehoboth Beach Sunrise Rotary Club. She has been instrumental in forging an alliance between the Rotary and the Community Resource Center, whose goal is to help homeless families regain their footing and become productive members of the community. She is also a driver for Meals on Wheels and serves on the Board of Directors as a member of the investment committee. Since 1998, Iorii has served on the Delaware Cash Management Policy Board, appointed by the sitting governor. This board monitors fiscal policy according to state law.
In her spare time, Margaret enjoys ballroom dancing, playing trivia, and dining out at local restaurants. She has served on the Scarborough Village Association of Owners Board for the past five years.
