The Gallo Gives Foundation Awards Community Donations

As part of its continual effort to make a difference in the community in which it lives and serves, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty’s Gallo Gives Foundation awarded its 2021 fourth-quarter donations to Code Purple Homeless Shelter, Rally for Our First Responders Event, Mason’s Mobility Mission, Westside New Beginnings, Clothing Our Kids, and Lewes Little League.  In all, $11,500.00 was donated for this final 2021 quarter.

a$2,500 was awarded to Code Purple Homeless Shelter’s Lewes location.  Their mission is to offer shelter to those with no home by utilizing the local churches, their sanctuaries, time, talent, and support to save lives during cold weather in Sussex County. a$2,500 was given to the Rally for Our First Responders Event. On Sunday, May 15th, 2022, Revelations Craft Brewery and Hudson Fields is hosting the “Rally for our First Responders” in the hopes of giving back to our local emergency responders. The event will bring together and support the Delaware Police Chiefs Foundation, Camp Barnes, Sussex County Paramedic Association, Lewes Fire Department, Milton Fire Department, Georgetown Fire Department, and the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and the American Legion. This 6-hour event will be a day filled with live music, activities, food trucks, Revelation Beer Truck, cocktails, wine, silent and live auction, and more! To purchase a ticket to the event visit,

a$2,000 was granted to Mason’s Mobility Mission. Their mission is to increase access to recreational activities in Sussex County and the local community. They will advocate for persons with physical or mobility needs and educate the community to bring about awareness of accessibility challenges. To support their cause visit, 

a$2,000 was dedicated to West Side New Beginnings.  West Side New Beginnings is a charitable organization whose mission is to provide after-school programs and activities for the children of the Rehoboth community. a$2,000 was awarded to Clothing Our Kids.  The mission of Clothing Our Kids is to improve the lives of at-risk elementary school children in Pre-K through 5th grade by providing them with appropriate school clothing. In Sussex County many children do not have essential school clothing which has a direct negative impact on their self-esteem, their school attendance, their ability to learn, and can lead to bullying. aLastly, Gallo Gives donated $500 to the Lewes Little League.  Lewes Little League performs interleague play at the machine pitch, baseball minors, and baseball major’s division. With a full season of interleague play, Lewes Little League looks forward to a memorable season of play for ages 4-16.
